She received her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Louisiana State University, where she also minored in Psychology and Art History. Her multidisciplinary background informs a practice that bridges visual beauty with deeper emotional and perceptual experiences.

In this hummingbird painting, I explore the quiet power of freedom and the beauty of adaptability. The hummingbird, a creature capable of moving both forward and backward, becomes a symbol of resilience—reminding us that progress is not always linear, and that sometimes growth requires revisiting where we have been.
The use of gold throughout the piece introduces a shifting visual experience. As light moves across the surface, the gold reflects differently from every angle, offering new perspectives with each glance. Artist Statement:
My goal is to create pieces that feel both captivating and alive—works that draw people in while encouraging a deeper, more personal connection. Through the subtle power of material, light, and perception, I aim to evoke a sense of wonder where nature, emotion, and surface converge—inviting viewers to not only see the work, but to feel themselves within it.
In my paintings I play with contrasting textures or colors to transform the work into an experience rather than a static image. As viewers move, the surface responds—revealing new highlights, shadows, and moments of brilliance. What appears quiet from one angle may feel luminous from another, inviting curiosity and sustained engagement.
