Brown Pelican
$950.00
Louisiana’s state bird, the brown pelican, symbolizes selflessness, care, and nurturing, qualities that closely reflect motherhood. Calm yet strong, it represents the quiet sacrifices made to protect and uplift others while remaining grounded through life’s changing tides. In this painting, I explore resilience, protection, and quiet perseverance.
The pelican also reflects the spirit of the people of Louisiana, who continually come together in the face of hurricanes and hardship. Through community, compassion, and collective strength, people lift one another up, rebuild, and endure together.

In this bee painting, I explore purpose, interconnectedness, and emotional wellness. This work speaks to collective strength, the idea that when we support one another, we create environments where everyone can grow and flourish.

The hummingbird embodies freedom, adaptability, and resilience, capable of moving forward and backward with ease. It reflects the idea that growth is not always linear, and that progress can come through reflection as much as movement. Subtle reflective elements shift with light, offering changing perspectives and inviting viewers to consider how understanding evolves. This piece encourages openness, reminding us that seeing from multiple perspectives allows us to connect more deeply with one another.

Flourish (Monarch)
$1,850.00
This work centers on the monarch butterfly as a symbol of migration, resilience, and belonging. As an immigrant from Mexico, I see monarchs as reflections of communities that travel, adapt, and ultimately flourish. Like bees and monarchs that pollinate and allow life to grow, people build and uplift the communities they become part of. This piece speaks to unity, showing how diverse paths and identities can come together to create something vibrant, connected, and whole

Artist Statement:
My goal is to create pieces that feel both captivating and alive—works that draw people in while encouraging a deeper, more personal connection. Through the subtle power of material, light, and perception, I aim to evoke a sense of wonder where nature, emotion, and surface converge—inviting viewers to not only see the work, but to feel themselves within it.
In my paintings I play with contrasting textures or colors to transform the work into an experience rather than a static image. As viewers move, the surface responds—revealing new highlights, shadows, and moments of brilliance. What appears quiet from one angle may feel luminous from another, inviting curiosity and sustained engagement.
