In this hummingbird painting, I explore the quiet power of freedom and the beauty of adaptability. The hummingbird, a creature capable of moving both forward and backward, becomes a symbol of resilience—reminding us that progress is not always linear, and that sometimes growth requires revisiting where we have been.

The use of gold throughout the piece introduces a shifting visual experience. As light moves across the surface, the gold reflects differently from every angle, offering new perspectives with each glance.
