This work centers on the monarch butterfly as a symbol of migration, resilience, and belonging. As an immigrant from Mexico, I see monarchs as reflections of communities that travel, adapt, and ultimately flourish. Like bees and monarchs that pollinate and allow life to grow, people build and uplift the communities they become part of.
